Sink spots over the forehead or create a fuller more beautiful forehead.
Loss of volume in the forehead over the years can cause the brow to droop. Forehead fillers can help to reverse this. A fuller forehead can create a lift for the upper face. Forehead fillers help to lift the brow indirectly, creating a more refreshed appearance.
What are Forehead Fillers?
Forehead filler can help to smoothen out bumps on the forehead. It can also help to volumise flat foreheads. Our forehead can lose fullness and become flatter with age.
Apart from the bodyβs natural aging process, some patients naturally have flat spots over certain parts of the forehead. Forehead fillers when done well, can help to fill up sunken spots over the forehead or create a fuller more beautiful forehead.
A smoother and fuller forehead contributes to the gentle Ogee-curve of the face, enhancing oneβs youthful profile. Besides replacing volume loss,Β forehead fillers can also smoothen out static wrinkles formed by overactive forehead muscles over the years.
How is it done?
A topical numbing cream is first applied to the forehead. After numbing, our doctor will mark out areas that require filling.
This is followed by tiny injections of the forehead filler that contain lignocaine (a numbing agent) to make the procedure more comfortable and into the areas that require filling and contouring.
Depending on the amount of correction needed, typically 1-4cc of filler will be used.
What's more?
Major complications are uncommon. Some possible side effects include slight swelling, bruising, bumps or needle marks. These effects if occurs, usually dissipate quickly.
Forehead fillers when done properly can help to enhance oneβs features naturally. Forehead bumps and lines can be smoothened out with forehead fillers.
Over filling of the forehead with forehead fillers is not recommended and can result in an undesirable forehead bump.
If you choose not to continue with forehead fillers once the existing fillers dissolve, not to worry. Your forehead will not become worse than before. It will gradually return to its original condition eventually.
This will depend on how flat or sunken the forehead is to begin with and how much curve is desired. Typically between 1-4cc of forehead fillers may be used.
Immediately after placement, forehead fillers may appear slightly bumpy under certain lighting/ angles due to slight swelling of the surrounding tissues. Not to worry, this effect does not happen to everyone and will reduce and smoothen out quite quickly.
Forehead fillers can reduce the appearance of some lines on the forehead and lift your eyebrows, especially static wrinkle lines (lines that are there when facial muscles are at rest).
For active wrinkle lines (lines that appear when we look up), a touch of anti-wrinkle injections will help to smoothen this out.

Forehead fillers can be done to look very natural. It will not appear stiff as you will still be able to move your forehead muscles freely.
It is not recommended to go for facial massage within the first 1-2 weeks of filler placement as the forehead filler may still be moldable during this period of time.
