Keen on getting the ultimate nose bridge and tip lift without having to undergo invasive surgery? Done either nose fillers or nose thread lifts before but it just does not seem to give a sufficient lift?
Combining nose fillers with the nose thread lift is the answer to attaining:
- a higher and slimmer nose bridge with less risk of broadening
- a naturally straighter and more defined nose bridge
- nose tip reduction
- nose tip lift
Nose fillers help to give the nose bridge more volume and height, especially in patients with a very flat nose bridge or in specific areas of the bridge where it is lacking (such as at the top or bumps along the bridge)*. However, adding too much filler to the nose bridge in the hope of getting an even higher nose bridge will only lead to broadening or thickening of the nose bridge a couple of months later as the filler spreads. The best way to achieve more height in the nose bridge, without having to endure a thick and unsightly nose bridge later, is to combine nose fillers with a nose thread lift.
Nose fillers provide the much needed height, volume and shape in the nose bridge. Nose threads, when added to nose fillers, act as scaffolding in the nose bridge and tip, creating further lifting, definition and straightening of the natural nose structure. Combining nose fillers and nose thread lift maximizes the potential height of the nose bridge and reduces the chances of broadening. This procedure improves the contours of the nose and may also leave a slight “highlighter effect” on the nose bridge.
How is it done?
Topical numbing cream is first applied to the nose bridge and tip. This is followed by tiny injections of nose filler into the nose bridge and/or tip. The nose filler contains local anesthesia which helps in making the procedure more comfortable. The nose threads are then inserted through a single entry point, at the nose tip, into the nose bridge and tip.
The nose bridge height will be raised and the nose tip lifted after the procedure*. As there may be slight swelling post-procedure, the immediate effect of the raise and lift will usually decrease by about 10-20% over the next 2 weeks.
How long does it last?
Nose fillers typically last between 6-12 months*. The nose thread lift typically last between 1-2 years*. A slight top up of nose threads and/or nose fillers 8-9 months post-procedure is recommended to prolong the results.
Are there any Side effects?
Some side effects include bruising, swelling and mild discomfort, which usually resolves quickly.
