As a trained medical practitioner, Dr Shiau believes strongly in providing medical treatments that are evidence based. This means, treatments offered at the Lux Medical Aesthetic Clinic, have been proven scientifically to work.
After graduation, she practiced medicine in various major restructured hospitals and also privately with Raffles Medical group in Singapore. She is experienced and has trained extensively in medical aesthetics for many years. In the course of her practice, she has administered aesthetic treatments to a large number of satisfied and happy patients.
Dr Kellyn Shiau graduated from University with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery. She also holds a Graduate Diploma in Family Medicine from the National University of Singapore.
Our doctor is passionate about beauty. She enjoys using her medical knowledge, paired with gentle, experienced hands to create significant, beautiful and yet natural improvements in her patient’s appearances.

Dr Kellyn Shiau’s interest in aesthetic medicine grew when she saw how she could couple her keen eye in beauty with a variety of non-invasive medical aesthetic treatments. During her free time, Dr Kellyn Shiau keeps her knowledge up-to-date by consistently attending both international and local conferences and training sessions. An avid lover of fashion and beauty, she is constantly updated on the latest beauty trends in our fast changing society.
Dr Kellyn Shiau is well versed in a broad range of aesthetic procedures ranging from jaw reduction injections, fillers, lasers, skin-care, acne scar treatments, thread lifts to non-surgical skin tightening devices.
Dr Kellyn Shiau is a member of the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine. In addition, she has also attained certification by the Ministry of Health accredited bodies, under the Singapore Medical Council’s Aesthetic Practices Oversight Committee for the following procedures:
