Milia

Bothered by the presence of milia (other known as oil seeds) appearing as tiny bumps on the surface of your skin?

Milia are harmless cysts that contain keratin. They appear as tiny white bumps in the top layer of the skin and make the surface of the skin appear uneven and bumpy.

They are more common in areas around the eyes and the cheeks.

Warts, skin tags

Warts and skin tags are common growths of the skin in the superficial layers.

They can be removed easily using cryotherapy, electrocautery or laser ablation.

Moles

Moles may occur in childhood or later in life.

Moles can be removed using an ablative laser. As the skin barrier is breached in the course of treatment, some redness and skin scab formation can be expected.

Moles typically have a 50% recurrence rate even after complete removal so repeated treatments may be required.

How do we remove them?

Milia can be de-roofed using a sterile needle or with laser ablation. The underlying contents are then removed using a small sterile needle. As the procedure causes a break in the skin barrier, this procedure is typically associated with some downtime required for skin repair.
